1. In no case did myositis ossificans, muscle contracture, pseudarthrosis or cubitus varus occur.

Sowohl konservativ als auch operativ gab es weder Myositis ossificans, Muskelkontrakturen, Pseudarthrosen noch Cubitus varus.

In einer klinischen prospektiven Studie wurde Pyrost in 1117 Fällen bei folgenden Indikationen eingesetzt: Auffüllung von Knochendefekten nach Spongiosaentnahme, Tumorresektion oder Endoprothesenwechseln; Pfannendachplastik; operative Frakturbehandlung, Pseudarthrosen und Verlängerungsosteotomien; Spondylodesen.

5. In order to avoid delayed effects — pseudarthrosis, stiffening of foot joints, toe deformations and flattening of the transverse arches — (with 30 of 141 patients) immediate treatment, exact setting and a sufficient immobilisation period are absolutely necessary.

Spätfolgen (bei 30 von 141 Patienten) waren durch Pseudarthrosen, Versteifung in den Fußgelenken, Deformierung der Zehen und Abflachung des Quer- und Längsgewölbes verursacht.

We report on two cases in which the differential diagnosis between an os tibiale externum (os naviculare accessorius) and a post-traumatic pseudarthrosis of the os naviculare was subject to discussion.Both patients had suffered an acute trauma in the region of the middle foot and showed identical clinical symptoms.Conventional X-ray did not allow a definite classification of the diagnosis either.However, this was possible in both cases by virtue of typical signs evidenced by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

Wir berichten über 2 Fälle, bei denen die differenzialdiagnostische Unterscheidung zwischen Os tibiale externum (Os naviculare accessorius) und einer posttraumatischen Pseudarthrose des Os naviculare zu diskutieren war.Beide Patienten hatten ein aktuelles Trauma im Mittelfußbereich erlitten und stellten sich mit identischen klinischen Beschwerdebildern vor.Auch die konventionellen Röntgenaufnahmen erlaubten keine eindeutige Zuordnung der Diagnose.
